Over the years, I’ve had opportunities to speak in both secular and religious settings. Even if you don’t feel you fit a category listed below, I would love to discuss how we might be able to work together.
Speakers and preachers—Please let me know if you think our gifts could work well together. If you plan on teaching from the book of Ephesians, for example, I would be happy to either speak the entire book at the beginning of your series or share it chapter by chapter as you go along. I also have other passages memorized and, if I haven’t memorized what you are preaching on, I can do so if I know far enough ahead of time. I would also be happy to speak on scripture memorization!
Youth leaders—You get your own line here because I care deeply about stirring the hearts of youth with a love for the Word! This “spoken-word-style” presentation of scripture is engaging in a unique way. Though my focus is on speaking scripture, I do have a background in Spoken Word poetry as well and would be open to serving up a scripture-based Spoken Word poem. I would also be happy to have a conversation with them about scripture memorization.
Worship leaders and Christian artists—I would love to be part of your team! I thoroughly enjoy speaking scripture before or during sets. Hebrews 10:11-25 before singing about boldly approaching God’s throne? That’s what’s up! Let’s talk.
Podcasters and bloggers—Is your audience intimidated by scripture memorization? They don’t have to be! I would love to discuss scripture memorization as a savoring of God’s Word and provide your audience with some tips that can help reduce any anxiety surrounding it. I recently had the opportunity to do just that on the Surrounded by Witnesses podcast (episode forthcoming) and loved it! I would also be happy to share scripture on your platform. If you have a certain scripture you would like me to speak over your people, just let me know far enough in advance.
Individuals and small groups—I would love to offer any of the services mentioned above to you. The small group context is also a good place to practice and learn about scripture meditation exercises. Let’s connect with God together.
